So Friday I harassed the DJ at the goth club I frequent to play Cocteau Twins, I wanted him to play Peppermint Pig, but he said he couldn't, and after much begging he played Bluebeard!! Unfortunately, I could not find myself dancing to it... I also don't really listen to 4CC but it was nice anyway. :D

Sundown. It's kind of on hiatus. Jeff said he will play something else next time though.

cool. I went to a couple of parties there a very loooong time ago.
Funny, a few months ago, prior to going out to Release the Bats (one of the best old skool goth clubs in the LA area ...well, ok, Long Beach, but close enough), I e-mailed one of their djs to make a heartfelt plea for him to play Peppermint Pig. I hadn't been out clubbing in a while and just really wanted to hear that song. I think it's the Cocteaus' danciest number - almost Siouxsie-ish, but more strange & fae than Sioux could ever be.
Oh, btw, he never played it, the fucker. But he did play an old Danielle Dax song (Inky Bloaters), so that almost made up for it.
