Alhtough the Bristol group made an isolated appearance in America earlier this year, playing at the Coachella Festival, they have not toured extensively in the US and Canada since the release of 1998's 'Mezzanine'.
It is believed that long-time collaborators Elizabeth Fraser and Horace Andy (http://www.nme.com/artists/horace-andy) will join Massive Attack (http://www.nme.com/artists/massive-attack) for the new dates, but they have yet to confirmed their involvement.
