I have this clip of Simon Raymonde's - sorry, This Mortal Coil's "Meniscus" as my ringtone. It just makes me happy.
When you download it, save it to disk, then you need to rename the file from meniscus.txt to meniscus.mp3 to play it.

I have a cellphone, but it's more of a pocketwatch and alarm clock than an actual phone.

I don't reckon that sonically dense CT songs would make for very effective ringtones.

B52s! If I could find a ringtone for "52 Girls," I'd do it. As it is, I have the "funky disco" ringtone that comes with my phone. I don't really like the idea of paying for a ringtone. It just seems like something that should be free in the world.

i had touch upon touch with my phone in the USA. It was nice. Now, I've got the 24 ringtone for my phone. I feel like a CTU agent :-)

Yoghurt and penicillin will clear that up for you.

yep, i downloaded the fruitopia ads onto my mobile - they're great as ringtones! i did my own version of bluebeard with the function composer too on my old nokia a few years back.

I had ride a white horse on mine, but I figured out how to cut MP3's and use them. I changed my ringtone to Tip Toe and when my wife call's I use strict machine. Im thinking of making one out of the intro on Blue Bell Knoll....

My boss's phone (I don't know the make and model, as I'm not a 'phoneophile) has a synthesised voice which tells him who is calling, based on the text if it's someone from a stored number calling him.

Sadly, he forgot that he'd set his wife's number to something other than her name and when she mistakenly rang his number instead of her friend's when she and my boss were both in the car, she heard his 'phone announce "Nag, nag, nag is calling".

He's almost back to eating solids now.

Also I use musicmatch jukebox for my MP3 music player on my computer. When it opens up It plays an annoying music bit. I ended up cutting up Aloysius and renaming it so when my mmjb opens it plays 14 seconds of Aloysius instead....
