As would I. My copy is possibly sitting somewhere below the Mediterranean Sea at this time. Don't ask!
That totally sucks -- I too lost a bunch of CDs and a brand new MP3 player in Mykonos this summer!
If I ever get a replacement, will let 'ya know ;)

1)Summerhead
2)Cico-buff
3)Fluffy tufts
4)Plain tiger
5)Heaven or Las Vegas
(guess I finally outgrew 'Ivo'??? )
...god, I forgot all about "Summerhead."
That's one of those tunes that, for some supernatural reason, has been burned into my circuitry, so I find myself absent-mindedly singing it to myself every day at least once. Not that that's bad or anything because, thankfully, I love the song.
Going on intuitive impluse..
Whales Tails (the most spacious ethereal acoustic guitar I've heard, I could very well sleep to this on infinite repeat)
Suckling the Mender (timeless memories...of what I don't know)
Theft And Wandering Around Lost (more spacious yet...)
Know Who You Are At Every Age (catharsis, fairly literal I know..but it stuck)
I Wear Your Ring (not a clue but I just love it :) )
Only 5...these are what I guess I am most fond of on the whole...still there are about 10 more in that category..but there are many others that I like alot for specific reasons...like, this isn't necessarily my top 5 for best mix/fx/engineering(Summerhead is #1 there for me), though a few are..also top 5 vocal, guitar, or bass respectively...there are so many aspects of CT and certainly music in general that are stimulating in vastly different ways...
also, the distinction in music between playing and listening...I suppose music can be either fun to play or desirable to listen to....or both or neither....but it generaly seems there is a fair amount of music much more one or the other...that's a bit of a generalization, but I think CT captures performance, mood, and structure often with a very natural balance.

I've only a very small collection of their bootleg material, but those versions are definitely cool. I wish she sang like that on the studio take of Millimillenary, I really like it. I like the effects on the 'lead guitar' sound too..

Hi, I'm just getting my feet wet here. Nice place. I remember my first experience with CT back in the late 80's/early 90's. They sort of crawled under my skin with those incomprehensible vocalizations and those ethereal accompaniments, and before you knew it, Iwas hooked. I'm probably not as well-versed as some of you folks, but here are my favorites.
1. Heaven or Las Vegas
2. Evangeline
3. Aikea Guinea
4. Lorelei
5. Tishbite
Of course it's really not practical to put together a top five considering the breadth of their work, but these five really do it for me.
