a forphoebestillababy request:
new here as of april 4th-
shout out to the cosmic continuum for sum decent massage music for my energy work. any suggestions? something along the lines of robin’s lush artistry like ‘continental’, having a difficult time at it finding those gems. I’m not looking for ‘free’ and definitely want to support artist’s new work, esp. robin, liz, etc…, though need not be limited to da family, but i needs substance!
many thanks!!

The new Yellow6 is pretty heavy and substantial for ambient music. I'd even go as far as to say tension-building which might go against it for theraputic use. Have you heard Slow Dancing Society? You could do worse than a quick search on Boomcat or even Amazon with your own favourite releases as a start point.

Harold Budd and Brian Eno's "The Pearl". Many of Brian Eno's Ambient works are lovely. Another work that is not necessarily ambient but has nice instramental work on their album is The Album Leaf - "Into the Blue Again".

There is so much out there. I sometimes listen to internet radio ambient or trance stations and find some lovely songs.

I would wait a couple months and get Robin's and Harold's new dbl CD. Should be truly amazing.
