View Full Version : After The Night Falls and Before The Day Breaks
Hi:
Does anyone know if there are any samples from the forthcoming After The Night Falls and Before The Day Breaks cds? I pre-ordered them, but must admit I'm dying to hear them.
Thanks,

There are no soundbites yet, as far as I know.
Hi:
I just received my copies from Darla today. Wow....incredible. I'm in love with these two albums. Simply brilliant.
Excellent work, Robin. Thanks.
Off to listen these again......

Yep, I received my copies yesterday. Imagine my surprise--these weren't due to ship until April 11.
Thus far, I've only listened once. Impression: very nice, exactly what you'd expect. Standout tracks: the ninth and final cut on each disc.
"Turn On The Moon" is niiiiiiiice.

Aahh, they were waiting on the mat for me when I got back from a perfect weekend in Paris...
So far, it's the best post-CT thing Robin has done - there's obviously something groovy going on with him working with Budd.
And and the exact moment I thought: "Hmm, could maybe do with a bit of drums", drums came!

I always listen to endorsements from a man holding a fine cup. I will order my brace tonight.

"Turn On The Moon" is niiiiiiiice.
And that's an understatement. Best thing since that untitled instrumental they did in 86. Astonishing. Un Tour De Force.

I wonder if mine will have arrived, when I get home.... I hope so - you're all driving me nuts with this!

It's been months since I was so excited by a record that was made in the last, ooh, 30 years.

I'm rather looking forward to hearing them. I've been gearing up with some "Continental" / "Imperial", this past week.
I'm rather impressed with their dual cd package - these two boys do well in collaboration and I've always enjoyed Budd's gentle approach...mixed with Robins guitar makes for a great marriage. I have it rolling over and over and over again on my 'shuffle' - can't get enough!
