Hey Robin, how come you're going to Chile and not ARgentina which is a short flight away?? Buenos Aires has 10 million people, I'm sure there's enough fans for you here.
I know for a fact that the 4AD era CT albums are sold at the 2 main music chains here, being imported from commercial partner Brazil, they are cheap too. Someone is buying them because they tend to disappear.
You have to come back some time and do Argentina and Brazil...please....

How very perceptive. I sometimes forget that the public may imagine there is a grand plan, a whole music business machine behind what I do. It's, how can I put it, a little less planned, a little more haphazard. If someone gets in touch with me and asks me to do a show, more often than not, if the conditions are right, I'll be really happy to do it. However if no one asks, how would I ever end up playing somewhere? It's not like I have any knowledge of who may put on a show for me in Argentina or wherever. I don't deliberately choose not to go.

It should be like grinding my way through chaos to get to the peaceful oasis of the Guthrie Sound.... a trip I'm more than happy to make! Hope I can find fucking parking though....oh, and I will be calling out 'sick' on Friday....
