View Full Version : Simon/Bella
Simon,
With BBC Scotland, NME and Betsey Trotwood (home page) all singing the praise of Vic Thrill, don't you owe it to yourself to rustle them into your Bella or AKA stable to nurture those wild babies before they die in the arid wasteland of non lable land? These bucking broncos could use a good cowpoke to reign them in, are you up to the challenge?

ted i know you have been campaigning me religously on vic's behalf, but i need to hear some (more) music. i can't sign a band on hearsay. i didn't see him live and it would be dangerous not to do that first. i am sure he's damn good, etc but there are many things that need to be right. I have made some shit signings in the past by not making sure all the pieces in the box were there. i admire your persistence .

do tell.
Simon,
So kind of you to refer to my efforts as 'persistent'....although obsessive or annoying may be more fitting! I completely understand your need to be cautious and fully aware of the assets and liabilities of any potential artist. I would be more than happy to send you a copy of CE-5 and any other nuggets Billy(VT) sends my way. I am already planning to send Leesa a copy and could include an extra for her to pass on to you, or you could e-mail me at tedcanning@yahoo.com if you care to provide a mailing address to get it to you from me (or Billy). They are planning another trip to UK & other European destinations and maybe you could see the live phenomenon (this guy has natural 'it' power, he just lights up the room with pure natural charisma..no bullshit/ pure energy)...coming your way soon. Thanks for the feedback. p.s. there is nothing in this for me but good karma and the pleasure of helping out a wonderful human being.
