View Full Version : And the new album is called.....
Phil Lawton

I don't often enter into these "what if" threads, but here's a rare foray for you.
I might well have seen this idea months ago on these very boards, so stop me if you've seen it before.
Had the unfinished album been completed and released, what would you like it to have been called?
My suggestion:
"It Ended In Tears"
......."geez, we did it again"?
the mind just seizes up ya know.....

Nothing so exotic - just a quick snort of industrial-strength bleach and some prune puree and lo! I can remember as far back as a week!

You win the Kewpie doll, mate. I really like that....and I'm typing this with NO trace of irony, just for a change.
Really.
I am.
Honestly.
Shit, it's the "Boy Who Cried Wolf" all over again.

Hey, thanks Phil. I actually put a fair amount of thought into that one... sounds a bit like "Sunburst And Snowblind" I suppose... I was trying to do something with "Solar Flare" or "Chasm" or "Tangerine", but then that one clicked into place. Sounds very Cocteau-LP-title-esque, although maybe not so from their later period but more an early to mid period lost artifact?

Ra Glands, surely.
I would think it might be called, Full Circle, I have a question, for the long time fans, Anyone at the ill fated, 1985, Wolfgangs show, you know when, Liz started to sing Ivo, and was, surrounded, with Sad, deathguild children, offering a tasteless dead wreath of wilted flowers, and screaming We" Cant" Here" You", Question, Did the band leave because of Tech Problems, or out of,sad disgust, I waited for them to come back to the stage, teary eyed that night.., Man" that crowd pissed me off that night. crying :hstand:

Good one.
Kinda like filing Monty Python DVDs under "I" for the "It's..." that started each show.
Funny.
