I've read all the debates on which era of CT was most critically acclaimed... how you manage to get some of those stupendous sounds from guitars alone...the real drum versus drum machine debate...questions of reunions...possible future collaberations etc. etc.........but what I'd really like to know is......
Is there a sample of a dog on Millemillenary? And if so...who's dog was it, and what was it called?

Have you ever thought about hooking up with Rob Halford?

I've seen the hard drive, sitting in a technical room in a certain studio in Rennes, but did not hear a note from it.....it was disengaged from all circuitry....a cold metal object. Maybe 'Touch Upon Touch" is as close as we will ever get. On another note, for anybody who thinks they weren't a great live band, just catch their version of Tishbite on 1996 Hotel Babylon on Youtube....I know that song isn't a fan favorite....I always loved it though...anyhow, just listen to the guitars, the bass and Liz's soulful delivery, it fuckin' rocks...wouldn't you have died to be sitting at one of those lounge tables?

Well, the timing was bad for asking given a certain persons management had just called to cancel a certain gig scheduled to take place in the desert of California (this being about 4pm on the 1st of March 2005 Rennes time). Let's just say the mood was a bit heavy to be asking to hear TGTO 'unfinished vocals' given the dropping of her own personal A-Bomb....you can see my predicament......you know it just didn't seem appropriate to say, "Uh, Robin, I can see this news has had a profound effect upon your well being at the moment, but, uhm, would you mind plugging in that hard drive and letting me hear some of those cuts from the unfinished album?" :suicide:

Well yes, sort of. I mean there were a couple of tracks, which may have been nearer fruition than others but for the most part the aforementioned 'album' has always, to me, been a non event. The music that I liked from those sessions evolved into some Violet Indiana tracks, namely 'Rage Days', Liar and Little Echo. Anything else which survived was probably nothing more than a little loop or chord progression. Not much more to add really, had the recordings been any more developed then perhaps one could have made something from them of worth, however one can only conclude that it's an 'unfinished album' but that conclusion, to me, is somewhat charitable.....
Oh, and this isn't just looking into that part of my past negatively, I have the 'album' on hard disk in my studio. I have little interest in it.

Sure was a beautiful moment.... Ted. You and Denise couldn't have performed better had you been US diplomats. After all, you didn't have my village bombed....

What Cocteau Twins albums were you most proud of? I just wonder a lot, listening to all of the records and how unique, lucid, and deep they are, how close they came to your initial vision. Maybe it is just because I listen to songs like Beatrix and they evoke such specific imagery that I can't help but wonder what the individual stories behind songs like this and their respective albums might be.

As Cocteau Twins did you ever consider releasing a Live Album? I find the live versions a completely new (and wonderful) set of songs. They should have had their place in your discography.
