Out of all the 8 standard Cocteau Twins albums, list them in order starting with #1 being your favourite then continue the list ending with your least favourite album at the bottom of the list.

This an was eye-opening challenge for me-I NEVER play full albums anymore.This got me to thinking...
Digital media has changed my relationship with music so much. The old days of getting out a vinyl album and putting it on a turntable made it less likely that i would play a song, skip a song, play a song, etc.
I realize i haven't thought of Cocteau Twins in terms of albums in a long time.
I also realized that the ability to skip and shuffle songs has made me more finicky as a listener- and so I've based my favorites list on how many tracks I would want to skip past if I played the album.

[My CT cannon is full of quirks. Victorialand and Treasure will always be far and away my favorites (1-2). Combined with albums 3-6 make up the rest of what I consider my traditional run with CT. Four Calendar and Milk & K both sound different to me, as though they were entering into a new phase of six that they never got to finish. This is not to say that I like 7 and 8 less, but of the two FCC is undoubtedly my fav.

Hi there! I'm new and this is my first post. Here goes:

I know my #8 is going against the grain, but other than the title-track and Carolyn's Fingers, I just don't get it. And "A Kissed Out Red Floatboat" is ranking up there in the all-time charts so I guess I'm missing something.

And truthfully, I love Victorialand more than I'm letting on, but I ALWAYS fall asleep when it's on (and never play it while driving) and no lie, fell asleep at one of their concerts when they were playing Whales Tails (from that album). Anyway, that's my intro.

I'm excited and already found some interesting threads.
