Sunday night was apparently the last airing of 120 Minutes on MTV2. It's supposed to turn into some show called Subterranean. Two old hosts, Dave Kendall and Matt Pinfield, were the guests and they chose the videos for the night.
No Cocteau Twins video shown (they'd rather show a Supergrass or a Siouxie and the Banshees video) although Dave briefly mentioned how the "goth-types" didn't like seeing trip-hop on 120 but then Liz Fraser of the Cocteau Twins sang on Massive Attack's third album and that made Massive Attack the "favorite goth band."

roflmao HILARIOUS those goths are....
speaking of SIOUXSIE...i always get stuck watching the 80's shows on VH1 Classic HOPING for the odd good video...yesterday I saw THE CREATURES "Standing There"...that was a nice treat...although it was followed by something horrible like Hall and Oates or something.

.....and hearing this tale might make our heroine Liz want to pull out all of those ever cute 'n lite pastel floral prints from her cedar chest.
ah, that infamous CT tour of Germany and its mobs of ultra-goth CT youth.

the 80's show on VH1 classics can be pretty good. i have caught several CT videos, lotsa siouxsie, clan of xymox, tons of other stuff only seen on 120 minutes in the 80s.
