I just read on Cocteautwins.com that The Moon & the Melodies was originally intended to be the soundtrack to a movie? Anyone know which movie it was?

I think it was meant for a documentary of some sort, but sorry I don't remember the title....in fact, I'm not sure if I know the title........I can try and find out for you.

I just remembered something that is somewhat related to this topic..........I think it was Simon who told me that the song "Kissed Out..." was used as background music during a scene on the (very lame) television program "Baywatch". Apparently the band gave their approval to use the song because they thought "Baywatch" sounded like the title of a documentary.

I have that bit of useless knowledge stuck in my head, but I can't for the life of me remember who said it!

i don't think the documentary ever had a name as far as i recall. it was going to be about the process of harold budd and cocteau twins coming together and collaborating on an album- the album was the moon and the melodies, but as i remember the documentary was only ever an idea and no filming took place.

well i think that's how it went..........
