This may sound an odd one for the CT thread ... but there is a reason.

On another artist's froum someone claimed that CT were Spurs supporters. That's Totenham Hostspur FC for non football (soccer) followers. The statement got me thinking, not a good idea . It's very possible that Simon is a Spurs fan, well he was born in Tottenham..... but as Liz & Robin are from Central Scotland they probably aren't.

So does anyone actually know which sports teams Simon, Liz & Robin support/follow ... if any ?

Mark Radcliffe does poke fun at Simon for supporting Spurs. i don't know anything about Robin and Liz's preferences, if any.

Thanks for this folks ... although how a Man City fan (Radcliffe) can make fun of anyone else's team isa bit surprising

i seem to remember that the joke had more to do with the fact that Simon "drove in a ditch" on the way to a match.

Simon is definitely a Spurs fan - don't forget he was involved in making a flexi disc for Spur magazine.

It would be awesome if you meant the Spurs basketball team. They're my favorite.

Sorry Angel, it's Tottenham Hotspur, a UK Premiership soccer team based in north London. US basketball (or indeed any basketball) gets very little coverage in the UK as it's very much a minority sport. The number of people who would know that there was a basketball team of that name is tiny (it's the San Antonio Spurs right?).

Doesn't Simon support "Tottingham Hotspur" or was that in someones dream?

Let's wake up Ossie and ask him? :D

Boring boring

I nearly cried when I saw the Middlesbrough goal the other night - Sheff. Utd didn't deserve to lose like that ....

As a life-long Blue, I can confirm the truth in this statement..... we have suffered these last 30 years.

They dont strike me as being fitba fans but Falkirk is the nearest 'big' club to Grangemouth - in fact i think the new Falkirk stadium (they moved out of Brockville - the most delapidated stadium ever - a few years back) is kinda between both towns - though my geography aint the best and Ive only been there once when it just had one stand (St Johnstone fans once famously sang to the home support "Weve got one, weve got two, weve got three stands more than you")
