taking into consideration the quality of the music and of liz's voice (let's just write off now the entire 1994 North-American tour!!!) and ofcourse the quality of the recording, and any other factors you care to mention... what is your most favourite live performance that is recorded....
i must say, i like Black Sessions 1995 & Ministry of Sound 1996 recordings of Iceblink Luck, and love the Black Sessions 1995 version of Pandora...
but ultimately 1996 Ministry of Sound recording of I Wear Your Ring get my vote every time.... A+ Liz!!!!
(notable mention to the Late Show UK performance of Bluebeard, let's be honest, it's probably the only recording of this song live that isn't as unbearable as the rest!!!)
and for once, can we stick to the point of this thread, there's always alot of deviating from the point, and before long, the it's actually hard to sift through anyone actual response to the question, well it is for me the simpleton anyways LOL....
happy times everyone

heads off to the 1995 Black Session for quality though... pity the encore of seekers isn't as good a quality as the rest of the tracks i've got!
Still Vera, Groningen 1984 for me. especially Millimillenary...the only live version of a song by this band that I like better than the original.

Black Sessions for me also!
Pandora 95' & Wax & Wane/ Aloysius 96' (Clifford Mixes)
are killer!
CT in NYC @ the Roxy 96' is also wonderful, but maybe because I was there.
And met them all! :jawdrop:

For me, it has to be Blue Bell Knoll in Paris, 1996. I love it! Not sure of the venue though.

i definately think they had it all in 1995/96.... the performance quality was amazing... pity i never got to see them perform live... being 4/5 during HOLV tour. 8 during the Four-Calendar Cafe tour and only 12 when they parted ways, i must admit at that time I did get very upset, hey i was only a kid! still one of my life-long ambitions to see them.... the "unmentionable" re-union concert was something i was considering... i'm only 22 now, but i'd sell my car that I worked long and hard to for to by a plane ticket anywhere in the world...... all you guys who did see them live are very priviledged... people moan about getting older and would probably love to be 22 again, but remember I'm growing up in a world full of more hatred and threat that previous, everything is dearer, and most importantly, music is all pretty much ripping off everthing that came before.... which I might add, i prefer the original bands that did it all back in the 70s & 80s.... i went to see Rhianna perform live in Belfast a few months back, and let's be honest, it was pretty shit.... and that's what we had at the top of the British singles chart for like 12weeks of 2007.... the world has lost everything it should truely desire and left us in a barron wasteland of music without meaning....
ok i'm taking the subject off on a new tangent, apologies (lol)... BACK TO THE QUESTION AT HAND!
Banana muffins...but I digress...
