I'm adding another section to the Archive/CD-ROM which will contain quotes about the band from FANS only........this is where you come in!
If you're interested in possibly having your quote about the band included in the CD-ROM fanatics section, all you have to do is the following: in your own words, type out your comment on the band.....it can be a quote directly about what the band means to you, or perhaps what a certain song represents for you, or maybe talk about how you felt the first time you heard the band, maybe talk about what influences you think the band may have had towards other artists, genres, or music history in general.......maybe talk about how you feel about Liz's lyrics (or lack thereof).......you could discuss their album artwork.......talk about how you played their music at a special event like a wedding or a baby's birth.........you could talk about the first time you saw them perform live.....anything really that you can think of that you'd like to say about Cocteau Twins that will be captured forever on this disc for others to read.
The only requirements are:
Your quote must not exceed 240 words.
You must be willing to include your real name (not a username), preferably your first and last name, but you could also just do your first initial and your last name instead. Include it at the end of your quote in the same format that you'd like it to appear on the disc.
You must agree to the fact that, if needed, your quote may be edited.
The only way to submit a quote is to post it in this (or the other duplicate) thread of the same name (in the Pandora's Box or Archive forum).
Your quote must not contain any inappropriate language (the CD-ROM will be available to fans of all ages.)
The quote must be in your own words (no plagiarism please.)
You must post your quote in the thread BEFORE APRIL 3, 2008.
The number of quotes selected for inclusion on the disc will depend heavily on the number of quotes submitted.
And once again I'll mention that you must not exceed the 240 word count!
