Blue Bell Knoll is a pretty safe bet. Well they all are if you enjoy the two you have but BBK is'nt too far removed from HOLV sonically.
Hell, buy 'em all.

How I envy your opportunity for discovery!! To hear each release again for the first time. . .if I could. . .

I'd suggest spreading-out your purchases and prolong the process.

I think Blue Bell Knoll may be their most perfect release, but as its pretty "close" to HOLV, I'd suggest a different flavor - from an earlier time. Treasure has a harder-rocking feel (relatively speaking, that is) or Head Over Heels is closer to their post-punk roots. I'd suggest Treasure, though.

air, as you can see cocteau fans have such varying tastes that it's futile to ask us for an opinion. i suggest going to the cocteau twins section of your local record shop, closing your eyes and buying the first disc you select from rack! THEY'RE ALL GOOD so you can't really lose out. :)

You'd better not Air ! You might as well have second thoughts and quit your efforts all together !
Choosing a next album is damned difficult so in order to confuse you or intrigue you more , why don't you get the Box Set ?
All nicely packed ,wonderful artwork, small morsels of paradise , for you to take once a day or every two days .
Savour them !!!!
