I didn't know that about Simon's dad. That's awesome. Does anyone know if he wrote other songs?

Damn. I had forgotten all about Alison Statton. Now I'm going to have to spend half the weekend looking for my Weekend albums.

Yello? After all, being an immensely rich and sophisticated and yet simultaneously avant-garde Swiss Playboy duo is an Alternative of sorts...

p.s. a little more info about Simon Raymonde's father here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivor_Raymonde)

Any chance on the rest of the list (just names) please Lees? Not sure I can get the rest of the list, as only parts of it were available for viewing online.

p.s. a little more info about Simon Raymonde's father here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ivor_Raymonde)I posted some information about Ivor Raymonde in this thread.......(which I bumped)
http://www.cocteautwinsforums.com/showpost.php5?p=78981&postcount=8

Also, a little tidbit of info......when I did the "Muscle & Want" music video for Simon, I superimposed Ivor's photograph over some of the scenes.

Thanks fritter and mmmender for the wikipedia link and the thread link. I never would have imagined such a thing. And Dusty Springfield is groovy too...

Dusty was a true star with a fantastic voice. I'll always respect the pet Shop Boys for resurecting Ms Springfield's career in the 1980s
