I'm looking forward to the new VI album. Has anyone had a chance to see them play live?

Robin Guthrie produced the new Ulan Bator album 'Nouvel Air'. Sounds a bit like Swans & the Young Gods... rather industrial.

i'm just hoping that robins next instrumental album he's working on, has a 'crotch shot' of himself on the cover. whouldn't that be great? he could shoot it himself couldn't he?

y'know, now that you mention it.....he is looking all trimmed down now.

so what happened?

he looks like he lost maybe 30 or 40 pounds, at least!

recovering some of the boyish youth, yes?

good for him!

i hope he finds someone besides himself to produce the new VI material.......an objective ear!

Mark Clifford gets my vote.

(or, at the very least, someone like Clifford with a connection to the new electronic rennaisance.)

As I know, Robin does not live in Paris, but in Rennes, in the place where they have recorded Milk & Kisses. Maybe the new Violet Indiana album will eb even better than this (of course I don't mean a single word!...my secret hope is that he will realize he was the best while he was a Cocteau Twin and he will make LIz change her mind)...
Violet Indiana's concert on a boat, after the relase of Choke was extremely pleasant, the guitars drove me to heaven and Siobhan was very sensual and a nice presence on stage, although she had to talk a lot during the silences and Robin fixing his guitar :)
