May sees the release of a brand new compilation from Felt, Stains On A Decade (CDMRED 200). This collection brings together highlights from FeltÕs output on Cherry Red, Creation and el Records during the Ô80s. The 15 tracks have been chosen by FeltÕs enigmatic leader Lawrence and include the Indie hit singles ÒTrails Of Colour DissolveÓ, ÒPenelope TreeÓ, ÒSunlight Bathed The Golden GlowÓ, ÒPrimitive PaintersÓ, ÒBallad Of The BandÓ, ÒFinal Resting Of The ArkÓ and ÒSpace BluesÓ.

This new collection signals the beginning of Cherry RedÕs Felt reissues series which will see all ten of FeltÕs albums released before the end of the year including the long deleted and much sort after Creation Records albums. Accompanying the first two issues in June is a Felt DVD. Titled A Declaration (CRDVD 25), this DVD consists of a full live Felt gig never seen before. (Unless you were there).

MJ.. i'm seeing strange characters in your post, in place of apostrophes it seems. just wondered if you're using some unusual character set or something?

That happens when you have a computer that is Japanese and you don ' t change the font of the page , there worst problems .
The strange characters , and these ar not strange at all , you should see the kind of things we get! , are called "Moji-Bake" in Japanese , "ghost characters" .
So , that explains it all !!!!

A DVD of a live gig is certainly such a big gift to the fans!
I don't know if it's on sale already but Manchester's Vinyl Exchange ,the
online store,was already selling it !

I've been trying soooooooooo hard to find 'The Stagnant Pool' on mp3 or CD. Looked all over the net with no luck :(
I'm still without a turntable, and only have it on vinyl.
Can anyone help ?

Oh , did you read my post where I tell of how last Saturday at a record shop
I bought 9 FELT records for some 53 quid .
Somebody's collection . . .
