I too have been a member there for some time, but let's not despair.

See today is Kate Bush's birthday. And she left me in the lurch for years. I was so patient, and then she dropped this gorgeous album called Aerial. And to this day I don't think I have digested it. She really delivered. It's like a big middle finger to the naysayers.

So if Liz needs some time to figure out what she's doing, or she just wants to release something great and she is holding back. Let her. I know that regardless of whether I bitch about her lack of output, I will be waiting in line the night of the release, cash in hand, ready to fork it over. Even if it takes another 10 years.

I would like to thank all of you who have contacted me regarding Kate and her birthday.... Your thoughts and good wishes for her have been exactly what i was hoping for...

Kate is well but, unfortunately, She has suffered a close family loss....

Her dear father Doctor Robert passed away last Friday... Less than a week before her birthday.... The good doctor was a source of constant inspiration to her and, in fact was solely responsible for Kate becoming the wonderful artist we all know and love....

As you can imagine this has devastated Kate and her brothers... So, again I ask you to send your thoughts to her at this most difficult time... But I would also ask you to respect her privacy at this moment.... Send her your thoughts not messages.... I know you all understand....

I too would like to thank you for your kind words to me regarding my work with Kate... I count myself privileged and very fortunate to be in the position to spend so much time with this extreme talent and wonderful, beautiful lady...

yeap some times all you can o is wait for the lady to sing nothing more - kate bush certainly delivered a magical album that more than made up for the wait ;-) so happy birthday kate and happy anniversary for those of us who are still waiting for liz :heart:
