Anyway, after performing with[I] 'Lumière' for what seems like the last 126 years, I've come to a point where 'fuck it' is the only logical move forwards. I've spent the last few months, avoiding, amongst others, myspace, facebook, email, webmail, text messages, telegraph, morse code, signal flags, smoke signals, runners, most inlaws and all of the French. I guess if it's that important someone would call me. Anyway aforementioned announcement is this. 'I've spent too much time realising my latest animated project,'Galerie', the follow up to 'Lumiere' from 2004, to bother y'all with much about it. It's an animated fim. I play music along with it, It's crammed full of all the things that my mind can't cope with after 46 years riding this planet. You work it out. I've done my bit.

No 'fuck it' is a term just a quaint term reserved letting go of things painlessly. I've felt very close to Lumière for the last couple of years as I've performed pretty much exclusively with it but it was time to move on to something new. Galerie has taken the last few months to create. It has been a very intense project, Perhaps I've been unclear, but then not many people ask me about my visual projects. I have no plans to release either Lumière or Galerie as DVDs or anything like that. I really like the idea that the only place that you can see them is at one of my live performances.

I was hoping for passionately disgrunteled, oh well nice way of letting go.
I think my phrase is simply "I'm done" whether that be a turmoiltuous family issue or simply daily errands. I find it works well for all situations and is rated "G" for all audiences. :p

It happens to all great artists at some point....Could Beethoven have composed his Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125 "Choral" without his middle period? I think not. Could Picasso have painted his "Guernica" without his Blue Period? Never. A door opens as one closes. Great news, Robin.

I'd love to see you live, but you seem to only tour the US West Coast and New York. You coming here to Atlanta is probably a pipe dream, but it would be nice if you could book some dates in maybe Chicago, Washington DC, St. Louis. I could then travel.

I'd love to come to atlanta to play but no-one there has asked me. That's the same for most places I don't play, it's not because I don't want to go it's because there's no one there offering shows. I don't really book concerts, people book me...
