hi, not sure if these 2 albums got much attention here? I put the best bits of each album on one CD-R and I must say that it's an excellent piece of music for meditation and/or general relaxation before going to sleep. At first overlooked, it now ranks as the best album(s) for 2007 on my list.
try playing track 1 from 'night falls', followed by track 1 from 'day breaks';
followed by track 2 from 'night falls', followed by track 2 from 'day breaks';
followed by track 3 from 'night falls', followed by track 3 from 'day breaks';
and so on ....
they compliment each other quite nicely ......

Frarn -- glad i am not the only one who thought that! it almost seems like they meant for it to be played that way....

I totally agree. My favorite track "How Close Your Soul"...have that on repeat when I take my long walk.

I'm going to try that today when I get home. I already like the idea just by itself!
So I did the re-sequencing and I liked it. I even burned it onto a CDr for living room playback, but it didn't fit on a regular CD so I edited the longest track (How Close Your Soul, a long-ass 7.37), with a long slow fade out to about 5.25 minutes. Bin playin da CD evah since!
^^^^
cool! glad you liked the idea .... not that I'm claiming any great credit, it just seemed an obvious thing to try to me as the titles seemed to compliment each other in that sequence ...
of course, Robin/Harold may have meant it that way all along .... wonder if Robin may comment at some point??
