sorry to disappoint you christian but seeing as i'm a cocteau freak i picked my username based on a song. quite randomnly i might add.....i'll tell you the story.......

long ago i borrowed my best friends (he goes by the username debaser (http://www.herb-bauer.com/~leesa/cocteautwins/vBulletin/full/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=51) on this message board) computer (yes it was before i had my own) to do a project for university on the impact of the internet....while doing my research i decided to see if there was any information at online about my absolute favourite band....sure enough i found the dot com website and decided i had to dive in and start posting....so i grabbed the first cocteau twins disc nearest to me (bbk) and randomly selected the name mender....over the years i added the extra m's as part of an inside joke (no, don't bother asking!) and the rest as they say......is history!
