hi all, i'm a newby here. don't know if this has already been on this site, but on the npr website there is a short lovell sisters concert containing a cover of teardrop. its a very neat and unusual bluegrass version. definitely worth a quick listen. if you don't want to listen to the whole concert skip ahead to 9:40. here's the link: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=106881326

Bluegrass really isn't my thing, but it's an interesting interpretation. Thanks for posting the link!

Yeah, didn't Liz say in the recent "Guardian" interview that "Teardrop" is about Jeff Buckley? Something about her anger because she abandoned him around the time of his death?

"hello, so nice to meet y'all" - aaaaggggghhhhhhh!!!!

interesting interpretation - but I'm afraid these days bluegrass music just makes me think of "Serenity/Firefly"!!

Yeuch - though in fairness this type of music isnt my bag- its things like this (ie other singers singing something Liz has sung) that endorse my belief that Oor Liz is the best female vocalist on the planet
