Is anyone else excited about this finally coming out?, remastered on 4 CDs, yes!.....$105 price tag...No!!

Tough call for me. I love "tears", but F&S and Blood win only rare listens. "Dust" is interesting too. It all comes down to the quality of the remasters, I suppose.

Press release implies the original three will come out separately (but the bonus disc not). So how badly do I want "Sixteen days"???

i think that i or my father will be purchasing it.... i bought him the original tears boxset a few years ago for xmas, something i searched for years to find...but i think it will need to be purchased :-)

Ups just delivered my copy, it's gorgeous, listening to Sixteen Days, crystal clear with no vinyl crackles at last!, love it!:heart::heart::heart:

I agree! It's a beautiful package, sounds clear and warm.

Makes me wish I had been more on the ball when the DCD set came out a few years ago.

I was led to believe blood & filigree would also be released on remastered vinyl too ;-)
looking forward to getting the boxset on tuesday [ payday ] yay !!

Finally made it back to this forum after a few years away. Just ordered my TMC box and from comments above seems to be a good move!

The cost was relatively okay direct from 4AD.

Got mine from moviemarz on ebay for £65 with £8 postage from usa to uk ;-)

but hes now put the price up to £90!!

so i got in just in time

There's a large 4AD advert for this box set in Record Collector magazine this month, and tucked away in the 'coming soon' section at the bottom of the page it says that they're going to be doing a special vinyl edition of Stars & Topsoil.
