I thought that was a really good article for newcomers. "Deftones" though? Weird. :confused:

The guy writes that BBK songs are weak? WTF? They are some of the best period. How can you not love floatboat (happy happy joy joy).

I remember Metallica giving props to CT, not strange at all. Deftones have a great thick growly gothic sound with good melodies. Deftones grew up on 80's music. Everyone owes CT a tip of the hat for the pioneers they were.

Robin's guitar sounds form the basis for today's sounds, like Hendrix did for the 70's.
