collaborations, duets.......you name it....everyone's at it these days but most collaborative efforts on the radio today should never have been. wouldn't it have been great if the cocteaus could've collaborated with some of our other favourite artists before their demise? who would you have liked to have see them work with?
cocteau collaboartions i'd kill to hear.......
cocteau twins & lift to experience (it would scare me, but it would be damn good!...btw, simon producing doesn't count!)
cocteau twins & red house painters (slow core swishy goodness)
cocteau twins & nick cave

Possibly the most bizarre suggestion of the day so far.
But it has legs....Noddy Holder lives not far from here...I'll nip 'round his house in a while and put the idea of a covers album to him.

Elizabeth Fraser and David Lynch....sans Robin and Simon (I'd love to see them all work with him as CT, but since that can't happen...don't want to feed my reunion fantasy)...I mentioned this to Lynch once in his chatroom on DavidLynch.com....He loves Cocteau Twins and thinks Elizabeth is wonderful...He recently made a deal with Julia Fordham to write some songs for future projects...I wish it was Liz though....
besides Julee Cruise obviously..have you ever heard david's collaboration with Jocelyn Montgomery "LUX VIVENS" fucking amazing shit....

I was scrolling down assuming that I would say CT with Bill Nelson or David Lynch, but it has already been noted.....Guess I'm in the right place!
I will petition then, that if they had done a whole album with B.J. Cole, we might all be akin to an even glossier veneer!
By the way, I suggest you all hear Lynch's new project, BlueBob

Jesus.......yeah Cocteau twins and Jesus H Christ
Harold Budd will never be surpassed as the ultimate in CT collaborations. And I love the Dif Juz guy's sax on the end of track 5. Just fades out when you're wanting more.
Just like the bass on the end of suckling the m'mm'ender - favourite track of all time
