Just curious if anyone knows what Mitsuo Tate has been doing...I did hear one track from a Japanese comp, that he did with Miki (from Lush), and it sounded real good! Wasn't he also supposed to release a "DJ Tate" record for Bella's Series 7?

Has anyone else heard this song, entitled "Smile"? It's from a Hippo Records (Japan) compilation entitled POSSESSED.

I had a very nice person contact me through CocteauTwins.com looking for it and I wasn't much help. I was able to track down the record company Web site where there was a sample. Anyway, my advice was to contact Virgin Japan or something and see if they could buy it directly, which apparently they did.

As a thank-you for trying, I received the song via e-mail a few days later. It's GREAT! Very Cocteau-influenced, and it's so nice to hear Miki sing again.
