It was called "Celtic...forever" ( at 2.30 A.M on ITV1, one of the main terrestrial channels) - an hour long celebration of 80s/90s Scottish and Irish pop bands, featuring excerpts from videos and interview footage.
The CTs got a minute slot, sandwiched betweem Hue and Cry and Travis. They showed excerpts from the "pearly dewdrops drops" video and some old interview footage.
(other acts featured included U2, Simple minds, Boomtown Rats, The Proclaimers, Big Country, Sinead O'Connor, The Corrs, Fairground Attraction, The Cranberries, Enya, Clannad, The Saw Doctors, The Pogues, The Waterboys, van Morrison, Hothouse flowers, Danny Wilson, Travis, Hue and Cry)
