Just wondering if you file music that has a Cocteau Twin featured in any way (like Yu-Ra, Ian McCulloch, Felt, etc.) in yer Cocteau Twin section? Don't know if this merits a whole thread....I guess it's either yes or no but I was curious. It does make the section huge after a while :D

being the cocteau freak that i am........i house everything in my cocteau cabinet that is in any way cocteau related. i have the discs divided into separate piles....and then within each pile there are sections........it's really quite an organized mess.....singles, albums, bootlegs, collaborations, compilations.....that sort of thing......see? it all makes perfect sense to me! ;)

...i don't so much mix the two..but have them in a section close by....except TMATM..i've got that with the general cocteau stuff,
because they're all on it.

so..i'm fudgeing it a bit....

I keep everything separate (except 'the moon and the melodies'), which can present problems (I keep forgetting where I filed Robin's 'drifting' CD), but I like it better than, for instance, having to split up my 'pre-Liz' Massive Attack from their current stuff.

It seems like complete overkill now, but for that very reason, I actually kept buying copies of the '85 NME 7" so that I could have a CT section copy, a Smiths section copy, and a U2 section copy. Silly.

I guess that would be the ultimate, though, eh? Keep a copy of 'the moon and the melodies' in your CT section, and another copy in your Harold Budd section. :)

put it all together.

"what you want
shoop-(liz)

shoop-(liz)
what you need
shoop-(liz)
you know i got it
shoop-(liz)"

Mory Kante "Yeke-Yeke"...Yup, it's in there (Robin engineers the "Afro Acid" mix).
