great interview, thanks mmm.

i love it when Robin gets all chatty.

he seems very relaxed and open in this one.

the "CT/drug days" discussion was most enlightening.

i wonder what was meant by the "Liz doesn't talk to Simon" comment, though.

is there still some bad blood between those two?

so what gives there?

does someone (ie, Liz) need to forgive and forget?

Simon is such a sweetie pie.

but lately it is Robin who has become my sentimental favorite ex-CT bandmate.

probably because of interviews like this one......the man is just so earthy and unpretentious and real.

he makes me proud to be a fan.

"If all the rest of the band members weren't so fucking mental we'd still be making records. "

well, that explains a lot...

thanks leesa

very interesting reading about robin's relationship with liz and lucy. i'd always wondered if she'd sing like her mum. maybe we'll get lucy's album before liz's

that is a great interview, never seen that one. funny boy sometimes, makes us all laugh and v down to earth. re his simon doesn't talk to liz quote. yes i sounded quite like there was some issue the way it came out, but ( well maybe i am naive and don't know something robin knows ...?) there is nothing funny at all remotely between me and liz. we haven't talked in a while no, but then we don't share a daughter and we aren't in a band together but i love liz, always will, just guess our lives don't seem to cross paths these days....and having said that we are planning to have some dinner together very soon, but who knows...?

thanks for the clarification, Simon.

of course, this can only bring all Cocteau Twins fans a small dash of hope.....which i'm sure you'll well understand.

wish you could have been with us at the LA CTfest.

it was a night i'll always remember, preserving the spirit of the band's music with so much honor and celebration and community.

i think he meant something different by the statement, something that simon's just not understanding.
