Hi,
An article in the BBC-Later edition gives a short recap of the Cocteau's break-up and then states Liz is "close to completing" her solo project. That's it. Normally, I wouldn't even bother posting this since we've been hearing how close Liz is to completing....blah, blah, blah, but the article is dated today (November 18, 2002). This gives me a small bit of hope. Of course the article made no mention of how this information was verified. Did they call her and ask?
Check it out. http://www.bbc.co.uk/later/artists/s03/4/biog_cocteautwins.shtml

Sorry to disappoint, but that's been there for some time, at least a year I'd say and probably more. I seem to recall it being there not long after Liz appeared on Later with Peter Gabriel and that must have been early 2000, or even late 1999.

Sorry to hear this. I guess I was thrown off by todays date being present at the beginning of the article. Luckily, I wasn't holding my breath. The thought of Liz actually growing some balls and putting out something other than her usual chirp/tweet in the background of someone else's creation seemed a bit far-fetched anyway. I've grown quite accustomed to NIL from Liz. At least she's consistant...

it should be a brilliant piece of work if she's taking this long
to "complete" her solo debut. LOL!:D

LOL! Phil! :D Missed you, lately!

Watchy, thanks! As far as I understand, the only pics that will post are ones taken off of other net servers/web pages. Erinn designed the avatar and posted it on a web page for me, sending me the link. I was able to use the URL feature for changing the avatar that way. But mmmender has promised to fix the issue. It may take some time, but I know she'll come through!

I WAS getting tired of the 'sexy Marge' being my avatar, though not tired of that pic, mind you! The full version has been blown up, framed in studded leather, and hung on my ceiling! :D

luci, i'm still waiting on an answer about the image issue from the server owner.......it's a permissions problem of some sort that he can't seem to figure out. patience is a virtue i've never been graced with.
