There are quite a few exciting developments underway in the world of the Cocteau Twins. While Liz, Robin and Simon continue to work on their own projects, an "official" promotional video compilation is being negotiated, as well as a documentary and multimedia DVD. No release dates on the horizon, but they are in development. Keep your eyes and ears open for further news... Liz is slated to appear on the next Massive Attack LP, but no solid release date has been announced.

I'm just waiting for that and coming here to ask for more info.
...Why are you so sure that Liz isn't in the album?

The information you have is quite old and completely inaccurate.
Forget the idea of a Cocteau video/DVD, at least from official circles.
Liz Fraser is NOT on the new Massive Attack album - the bewilderingly attractive Ms Freeman (aka Baddy2shoes) is the biggest M.A. fan here....trust her.
Sorry to disappoint you.

Your blind optimism is an inspiration to us all. The only problem with keeping an open mind is that, if you keep it open for long enough, your brains will fall out.
So be careful.
CT are dead.

Yes, I know that the individual members are all still breathing, but the collective whole is a thing of the past. The same can be said about any interest from record labels about issuing things like DVDs or the unfinished album. Simon has said on here that there is no chance of new material being released.
...Why are you so sure that Liz isn't in the album?
Don't argue with the Freeman woman.

July 2001 was ages ago. Back then, that was accurate information, but a lot can change in 18 months.

New song is crap, no progress from mezzanine at all and sounds very dated. Sinead sounds like shes trying to sound black...bizarre!

imo, the new Massive Attack "100th Window" is the best thing they've done by a mile. they've dumped the tired ole hip hop rap thang, cut out all of the instrumental "filler" peices, upped the number of fem vocals, adapted any number of "dreampop" production methods including vocal layering and overdubbing; i mean, what's not to like. Sinead has never sounded better, by the way. the only thing that Mezzanine had going for it were the songs with Liz, anyway. this album is just non-stop gorgeous beginning to end.....and very influenced by late-Bjork/Radiohead.

playing devil's advocate as usual, but totally sincere on this subject.
