MEMBERSHIP
* Members must meet the minimum age limit of 13.
* All required input fields must be completed during initial registration. Users registering with an incomplete or false profile will be banned from forum usage.
* Registered Users must keep their profile up to date, including a valid current e-mail address. Failure to do this could result in infraction, suspension or banning.
* Duplicate accounts are not allowed. If you mistakenly create a duplicate account please contact a member of the Moderation Team immediately so that the two accounts can be merged. Members should be aware that the forum software automatically alerts the Moderation Team whenever it detects multiple account log-ins from a single computer or internet provider address. Do not share your membership details with other members. Logging in to someone else's account violates forum policies and members may be suspected of possessing two forum accounts.

STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOUR
* Members should at all times show consideration and respect for other forum members.
* Flaming, baiting, harassment, abuse or provocation of other members is strictly prohibited.
* We have a zero tolerance policy regarding abusive behaviour directed at either the Administrators or Moderators. Members who violate this rule carry the risk of receiving an immediate banning from forum usage.
* Members will not directly insult other forum members in public posts/threads.
* Members will not post any messages or images that are excessively obscene, insulting, vulgar, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
* The rules laid down in this section cover all aspects of Cocteautwinsforum.com usage, including public forums, private messages, reputation system and chatrooms.
* The Moderation Team will act upon violation of these rules at their discretion, with all options from private warning to immediate banning available to them. Their decisions are final. You are entitled to appeal any decisions made, but be advised that appeals are generally not granted; only under extreme circumstances of misjudgment are decisions reversed.
* Any complaints about Member behaviour should be reported to the Moderation Team and should not be dealt with on your own.
* The Moderation Team reserve the right to act on complaints as they see fit. They also reserve the right not to publicise the outcome of any investigations or any subsequent action that is taken. Their decision is final.
* Where requested, the Moderation Team will attempt to mediate disputes of any nature, be they public or private. This is provided as a goodwill service and performed without favour or prejudice. The Moderation Team cannot and will not however be responsible for the actions of those in dispute.

FORUM USAGE
* The Moderation Team reserve the right to remove, edit, duplicate, stick, quote, merge, move or close any post or thread without notice.
* This forum does not use the automated censorship system. The Moderation Team use their own discretion with regards to censoring language, images and content. Their decision is final.
* Members will not post any messages or images that are excessively obscene, insulting, vulgar, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
* Pornographic images, whether photographic or artistic, are not allowed outside the Waxxx and Wane forum. Violators of this policy are subject to infraction.
* No inappropriate avatars or signatures. The Moderation Team reserve the right to alter these particular profile features without notice in order to maintain basic forum standards.
* Spamming the forums with commercially-oriented links, product information or advertisements will result in an automatic banning. Please seek approval from a Moderator if you are uncertain about the possible commercial content of your post.
