Default Liz Fraser at Play

Does Liz Fraser play an instrument? I know she was the lyricist and vocalist for CT, but I've never heard anything about her concerning instruments. I suppose the human voice is an instrument (and imo, the most beautiful instrument there is) and her prowess in that area has never been questioned. If anyone can shed some light upon this dark, opaque conundrum, it would be greeted with my utmost and undying benediction.

BTW......my 300th post, yay!

tho i do remember the liner notes for "at last i am free":
Elizabeth Fraser vocals & melotron.

from ZIG ZAG :August '84
is Elizabeth musical?
Liz:"i don't know"
Liz:"i can't read music or anything:i'll never be able to read
music or anything-i'll never be able to play an instrument".
Liz:"i'm not patient enough to start".

if memory serves right,i have other interview/mags that speak
of this...or at least her musical family background, but will try to
dig thru them later.(lol)

hope this helps.

She might be playing something these days, since there was rumors flying about her experimenting with Pro Tools

she plays mellotron (a kind of tape-playing keyboard instrument) on her track on the last year's rough trade comp. it sounds like her own voice was being fed through it.
simon raymonde mentioned liz getting into software during their last recordings in an interview somewhere. he didn' specify what she was using.
