so, can we have an 'official' coachella rsvp thread here? i am having a lot of trouble remembering who will be here, who is thinking about it, and who can't - it's spread out across so many threads now! i remember you guys did this for cocteaufest and it seemed to work really well!!

yep, i have my ticket for Coachella on Saturday.
will be staying in Palms Springs at the Palm Court Inn that night.

also, will be in LA on Friday evening for the special CT-Reunion event at Club Violaine.

yep! coachella rollcall! that's a better word for it. good idea, fred, to include that stuff, i are smart?! :P

i'm flying into LAX on friday, and i'll be at violaine (providing i can get in! - i still don't know if it's 21+) i am going to coachella on saturday only & will be staying at the super 8. then it's back to LA, and i'm leaving on monday morning to get home in time for class monday night.

i am coming down friday with my friend melissa. may need a place to stay friday night. driving to palm springs sat morning, staying at palm court inn. (have extra room for maybe one or two people). leaving sunday to drive home.

i haven't bought a plane ticket yet, but my Coachella ticket is affixed to my bulletin board, right next to this desk upon which i type! yay!

i have a hotel room reserved in LA for Friday night, and will be at Club Violane.

i have a hotel room at the Palm Court Inn for Saturday night.

i plan to fly in early on Friday and out late on Sunday night. that's the plan at least....

Got to collect my ticket on the day as they won't post them abroad. Planning to be in LA on the Wednesday (not sure which airport yet as not sure where i'll be staying), stopping at the Palm Court on the Saturday then leaving LA on the Monday. No hotel booked in LA yet it depends where Violane is being held. If it's in the Ramada Inn then I'll stay there.

I´m going too

staying on friday night in LA (Ramada inn), going to Club Violaine.

I´m going only to the first day of festival (saturday) and i´m staying at Palmcourt inn. Flying back to Santiago from PMS on sunday afternoon.

I really am the ONLY CTfan in the Antelope Valley...I think the folks that I had planned on going with are pure flakes most likely no-shows...so I'll hitch-hike from Grand Central to violaine or bus it daytime. Hopefully will hitch a ride from violaine to the show and then back to grand central for a train.

I am going to Coachella. Will be there Saturday. Got a question though. Did anyone else experience the "you have to book two nights minimum, sorry that's the rules" speech at Palm Court Inn? That is the only thing that has me not going to Violane on Friday. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

i got that "two day" or nothing speech at a bunch of places, but not at the Palm Court Inn (and that, as well as the reasonable rate, is why i decided to reserve there.)

however, i was careful to ONLY book them "on-line" because i was told elsewhere to expect this kind of thing to happen when pursuing a reservation by telephone.

I guess that was the secret then. After much discussion with the "manager" who insisted that I book only friday and saturday, I finally got it changed to Saturday Sunday. I could not squeeze out of the two day minimum stay. she said and I quote, "You are just going to have to accept there are rules and this is one of them!" can you believe that nerve of that lady? Does she NOT know I am the one and only Spanglemaker, lol? So, I will be there with bells on, on Friday at Violane! that is funny....that is my nick name too shells bells

Hi Sweets,

I was thinking about driving down Thursday after work. I can drop you off at your aunt's house, or you can drop me off at Heather's in Hollywood. Then we can meet up before Violane. We can stay with Heather on Friday night after the club. And then shower and go to Coachella. I want to find out when CT plays. I hear that they don't allow you to bring in water bottles OR umbrellas for shade. You have to buy everything there. And you are not allowed re-entry. And everyone tells me it is HOT out there! So yes, must find out when CT is playing.

So let's try to find out where to stay Saturday night after Coachella. I'm sure we can stay with Heather again so we don't have to pay for a hotel.

Yipeeeeee I can't wait!
